About DVE

Since 1987 the owner of DVE Productions, Trey Smith, has been in the audio/video and entertainment production business. Starting out working as the audio engineer at a video production facility, Trey moved on to designing, building and owning a professional recording studio in Nashville, TN for over 10 years.

During that time Trey expanded into event production by producing his first Halloween event in 1990. By the end of the 90's, Trey had grown his Halloween event business into the largest production in the state while at the same time growing his audio production business.

By the early 2000s, Trey and his wife Traci, followed their heart and moved to beautiful Charleston, SC and in 2004 started up Dream Vision Entertainment. Since then, DVE has produced festivals, concerts and still continues to produce what is now South Carolina's largest Halloween attraction, Boone Hall Fright Nights. The team that makes up DVE is now continually focused on creating high quality entertainment through innovation and focused, hard work.
